Chocolate Chicory Collagen Tea

This is one of my all time favorite teas and can be enjoyed hot or cold.
I can't drink coffee but find chicory is a great alternative offering a similar bitter flavor profile. Chicory is a great prebiotic and aids in digestion.
It is definitely a staple in my rotation of teas.
1-2 TBS of chicory granules steeped in hot water for about 5 minutes
1 TBS unsweetened sun butter (peanut butter is typically harder on the digestion and naturally high in mold)
1 TBS chocolate cocoa powder (unsweetened) Dutch processed will have the richest flavor
1 Raw Medjool date pitted
1/2 - 3/4 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1-2 Scoops of Collagen (Vital Proteins or Great lakes brands are my go to's)
How to Prepare:
Pour all ingredients into a blender
Add ice if you want it iced
Blend until smooth
