Gluten Free Barbecue Chicken Pizza

Finding a gluten free pizza that isn't cross contaminated and fresh is hard to come by.

I enjoy home cooking and finally found a pizza crust that is gluten free, simple, and quick to make courtesy of

I wanted to change it up and make a barbecue chicken pizza.


  • 1-3 Oz of Grilled Chicken cut up

  • 1/2 cup of Raw Spinach

  • 1/3 cup of BBQ Sauce (I used a sweet mesquite one for this, just check ingredients for modified food starches and msg)

  • 8-10 Slices off of the Miyokos Dairy Free Mozzarella Cheese

  • 1 TBS Miyokos Butter

  • 1 Spanish or Red Onion (I used a Spanish one because I didn't have red on hand)

  • 1TBS Fresh Cilantro

How to Prepare:

  1. Make the gluten free pizza crust above and bake for 10 minutes

  2. Top with BBQ sauce enough to cover the crust but not smothered

  3. Add Spinach leaves

  4. Add Grilled Chicken

  5. Add the Dairy Free Mozzarella slices

  6. Place in the oven for 10 minutes at 450

  7. While the pizza is cooking, sautee the onion, toss on a pinch of salt in the butter on the stove top and caramelize. Pro-tip: One the onions are soft and start to brown but look like they will burn add a little water to the pan, it will prevent them from burning and help soften them the rest of the way. For a little heat, sprinkle on some hot seeds while cooking.

  8. Once pizza is set, add the cooked onions on top and put back in the oven for about a minute or 2.

  9. Add fresh cilantro to the cooked pizza

  10. Enjoy!
